Manifesting Bliss Through Art & Love

Journey Of A Dreamer | Featuring Jessica Ando

Jessica Ando has made many dreams come true since creating her first Dreamboard in 2015. She is happily engaged to the man of her dreams (their wedding is set for some time this year) and she finally feels comfortable calling herself an artist. What a win! Check out our interview to discover how Jessica is living the life of her dreams, and how with a little patience, trust, and acceptance, you can too!

Q: In 2015 you did your first Dreamboarding session with Tiare. You created a Lifeboard focusing on “Love and Relationships,” do you mind telling us some of the words you cut and pasted onto your Dreamboard?

A: Some of the words I had on my Dreamboard under love and relationship included: feeling loved, appreciated, confident, trusting, believing in our potential, committed, supported, understood, safe, honored, healthy and happy loving marriage, connecting conversations, travel, building a home and family.

Q: Today, you are happily engaged. Does your relationship reflect the qualities described above? If so, can you provide some examples?

A: Yes, very much so! I am feeling all the above.  We got engaged in October.  We live in a beautiful townhome, have the cutest dog that we love, we are both healthy and thriving.  I definitely feel safe and committed, understood for all the good and embarrassing parts of myself— the parts of myself I don’t necessarily show to others.

Q: Are there any qualities either in Chad, or your relationship, that exceeded your expectations?

A: I think staying together through my own health issues that happened so early on in our relationship definitely exceeded my expectations.  I was grateful and kind of blown away that he stayed, we continued our relationship through the most difficult time in my life.

Q: Are there any areas you are currently working to improve?

A: I like to think that I am constantly improving all areas of my life.  I appreciate the way I am guided to approach my Dreamboard because it is something that is fluid so it reflects our changing goals and life situations.  I continue to work to improve myself always.  I currently am most focused on my art business, health, and supporting my relationship as we transition into a new chapter.

Q: I know that you were feeling quite uncertain, even hopeless at times before your first Dreamboard session Tiare, what advice would you give to someone experiencing something similar?

A: I would say that starting with pushing a little beyond any limiting beliefs is a great first step.  Even if it is a very small step.  Usually, when there is uncertainty, there are beliefs of what cannot be done or be imagined as a possibility.  I like to let my mind play with what could happen even if I don’t fully believe it yet! Sometimes I like to give myself a full day to imagine and live as if my dream has already come true.

Q: Let’s shift gears a bit and talk about your artwork. The 2015 Haleiwa Art Festival was a significant event for you because not only did you have to apply and get accepted to participate in the event, but it was the first time you distinguished yourself as an artist. How did that feel?

A: I remember feeling that it was the first major goal that I accomplished.  It was a rewarding experience to dream of being in the festival, to then being in the moment of being accepted, and to then actually be there setting up my booth! It provided a sense of confidence in myself and in my dreams.  I remember feeling so elated when I received my name tag that said “artist” on it.  It was then that I felt I was fully worthy of considering myself an artist.

Q: What is one word you would use to describe your creation process?

A: Trusting! If I keep repeating that to myself, it helps me to stay open to the creativity and flow that I know will help manifest the best of the best of my dreams!

Q: What is another to describe your final product?

A: I describe many of my final products as something co-created by myself and the universal creative flow! I truly feel that I often am a channel to what wants to come through and be expressed in this world.  My final products contain both my personal intentions and creativity as well as ideas that flow through me that may have been unplanned!

Q: Jessica’s perfect day looks like…

A: Feeling well rested when I wake up, having a quiet morning with a cup of tea, mediation, and listening to music.  Having time in the morning with no plans.. just free to wander, drive, walk about! Lunch at arancino, delicious pasta, and refreshing iced tea, laying at the beach with Imo and Chad, dinner party with friends and ending with a dance party!

Q: Standing by your vision, your art, and your entire creative process can be challenging at times, how do you stay true to your dreams?

A: When I come back to my truth, I know that I will stay aligned with my dreams.  I enter a very sacred space within myself where I am reminded that I am free to be so open to the miracles that can happen.  I know that when I remain open and just clear out the doubts and fears, the right things will occur. And I trust that.
